The opportunity:

We have an exciting newly designed opportunity for an experienced Events and Marketing Coordinator to join our team. Based in our new offices in West End Village, this role will report into our Community Development Manager and play an integral role in the organisation and promotion of community and marketing events across our QLD projects with a focus on fostering connection and belonging within the communities we create.

As the successful applicant, some of your responsibilities include:

  • Develop & monitor Event Notification Forms (ENF's) for all programs/events
  • Admin and inquiry support for QLD community programs
  • Manage event promotion on social media and other marketing platforms
  • Assist with organisation and coordination of event vendors
  • Event and Community program support including managing attendance using Eventbrite/Humanitix; support set up / pickup for events
  • Prepare contract documents and consultant agreements, coordinate execution
  • Vendor management including managing purchase orders, vendor creation, and budget reports, collecting vendor insurance documentation
  • Draft and distribute community EDMs
  • Ensure tenant communication with Property Management
  • Draft various correspondence (emails, presentations, agendas)

You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:

  • Demonstrated experience in Events and Marketing Coordination
  • Experience within Community development / Property Development highly regarded but not essential
  • Diploma or similar within marketing, administration, business or similar
  • Advanced communication skills, excellent written and verbal communications
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, ability to prioritise
  • Experience in event management, social media management and content creation
  • Driver’s license and car with the ability to work evenings and weekends as required
